At the old age, the elderly people are discarded by their own family members and others due to various reasons. Economic factors play a major role in this. We found quite a lot of elderly people are deserted and stranded in the platforms. In order to extend a helping hand to them financially, we have planned for a “pension scheme” to the most needy and desperate senior citizens. This scheme will provide financial assistance on a regular basis to the elderly.

MACT is making earnest efforts to identify some service minded donor agencies to support financially for this good cause. We will manage this scheme with the external funding sources for some time. In due course, our agency will find its own financial resources to run this scheme into a regular scheme. Once this scheme started functioning, the identified eligible senior citizens would receive a monthly pension to meet their day to day expenses without depending on others.
