The Present School going children are the first generation learners. Their parents are not in a position to help them in their studies, as most of them are illiterates and engaged in bread winning work for their families. Hence, a tutorial system was identified as an urgent need. An orientation training was given to the tuition teachers to help the students to improve their learning methods, listening skills and also to develop their memory power to perform well in their studies. These centres effectively serve the school going children of 6 villages in Pudukottai district. This is a supplementary system to help the students after their school hours.
