A baseline survey conducted in 18 of our target villages has revealed the poor educational standards. This pathetic position contemplated us for a constructive plan in a continuous manner to improve the educational level of the village children. “ASMAE” – a French social and Medical Aid agency has supported our initiatives to transform “Children clubs” into “children movements”. One of such movements is known as “VERGAL (Roots) Children movement” was founded with the continuous effort in providing leadership trainings to different children groups.
The primary motto of children movements is to organize them under one roof to raise their voice and fight for their rights to lead a dignified life. Currently 26 children movements are actively functioning in the villages of Trichy and Pudukottai districts
