This programme is effectively carried out in Pudukottai district, as the present school going children are the first generation readers in the community. It is implemented among the students who are studying standard VI  and above. The very purpose of starting this programme is to motivate the students to inculcate the habit of reading books in the school premises and also at their leisure times at home. Our endeavours fetched good results in six schools in Viralimalai block in Pudukottai district.
