The inception

Mary Anne Charity Trust is a non-profit, non-governmental service organization devoted for “self-reliant“ Integrated Community Development Services”. It was registered under the Indian Trust Act in the year 1996. Our humble beginning started in Trichy district Tamilnadu state, South India.

Main Focus

As 80% of India’s population live in rural areas, great care has to be taken to develop the status of rural community; special programmes should be initiated to reduce poverty; To improve health systems and to generate more employment opportunities’. We have chosen our target community as “Rural mass”, we are adopting a strategic method to implement “Integrated rural Development programmes”, volunteerism, Leadership and Dedication” are our core values.

• Making people to decide for their welfare and future by educating them the human value systems, dignity and participation.
• Transforming the target community as the “promoters of movements and custodians of “social assets” created by them for the permanent well being of the communities concerned.

Presently Serving

Through well trained and committed staff members, our systematically planned welfare programmes are executed in the Districts of Trichy, Pudukottai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Chennai. Our Head office is in Chennai.
